WHO WE ARE, and WHERE WE ARE
We are the members of the Conservative Party living in the Parliamentary Constituency of Holborn and St Pancras, which is the eastern part of the London Borough of Camden. We work with Hampstead and Kilburn Conservatives in the west of the Borough.
Together, we form Camden Conservatives, a very interesting and active cross-section of the wide variety of people living and working here. We are always looking for new people to join us, with new ideas, and an interest in what can be done to improve everyone’s quality of life.
The Camden wards of Bloomsbury; Camden Town with Primrose Hill; Cantelowes; Gospel Oak; Haverstock; Highgate; Holborn and Covent Garden; Kentish Town; King’s Cross; Regent’s Park; St Pancras and Somers Town form the Parliamentary constituency. If you live in any of these wards you are WELCOME to JOIN us by clicking here
HOW WE WORK
We are a democratically organised membership body which everyone is entitled to join. To vote in our meetings you will need to have joined the Conservative Party itself a as a full member.
The day-to-day running of the Association is the job of the Officers. They are elected every year at the Annual General Meeting of full members. Our Officers meet regularly and report to an elected Executive Council. A member willing to stand for election as an Officer will ask our Hon Secretary to start the process.
The Executive Council consists of two members from each ward branch, the Officers, and other representatives and meets between two and four times each year as needed. The Hon. Secretary of the Association is responsible for organisation the meetings.
