Over the past few weeks we’ve speaking with residents in King’s Cross about the ongoing issues with fly-tipping and waste collection.
If you've lived in Camden for a while you will not be surprised to hear that over that last few years Camden has become one of the filthiest boroughs in the country.
In 2019, Camden had the second- highest number of reports for fly-tipping in the country. Things have only got worse under Labour: we are now the most fly-tipped borough in England, fly-tipping incidents rising by a third in a year. Camden Conservatives called for a review of Veolia's waste-management contract. But Labour-run Camden Council refused to do this. You can read more about this in the Camden New Journal here.
If we were in power, we’d make sure local residents were getting the most out of their council tax with bin collections, by reviewing Veolia's contract and looking at all the options
