SHAUN'S PLAN TO GIVE LONDON A FRESH START
1) Making our streets safer — by hiring 8,000 more police and reopening 38
police stations.
2) Helping young people get out of crime — with 32 new youth centres and
4,000 new youth workers.
3) Getting young Londoners on the housing ladder — by building 100,000
homes and selling them for £100,000 each.
4) Cleaning up London’s air — with a zero-emission bus fleet by 2025 and
interest-free loans for black cab drivers to go electric.
5) Fixing TfL’s finances — by introducing corporate sponsorship to the tube
network, so we protect under-18s’ and over-60s’ free travel.
6) A bigger, better transport network — with a London Infrastructure Bank
that will fund things like Hammersmith Bridge repairs, tube upgrades and
Crossrail 2.
7) Reversing the congestion charge hike — and scrapping plans to extend
the £12.50 daily ULEZ charge to outer London.
8) Saving each London household £307 — by reversing Sadiq Khan’s 10%
council tax hike.
9) Standing up for outer boroughs — by scrapping Sadiq Khan’s plans
to charge people £5.50 to drive into outer London. And by introducing
30-minutes free parking for outer boroughs.
10) Working constructively with government — I’ll work with ministers to get
a better deal for London. And I’ll always take responsibility for London’s
problems.
LONDON FACES BIG PROBLEMS — AND THEY STARTED BEFORE CORONAVIRUS HIT
London is the greatest city on earth. But we face big problems — and the pandemic exposed how deep those problems run.
Knife crime is at a historic high. Good homes are unaffordable. Investment in our transport network has dried up. The cost of living keeps rising. And the Mayor of London won’t take responsibility for any of it.
GOOD ENOUGH IS NO LONGER GOOD ENOUGH
For London to recover, we can’t go back to how we were before.
We need a fresh start. And that means new leadership in City Hall.
SADIQ KHAN IS NO LONGER THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB
The Mayor of London had five years to fix London’s problems. But instead of fixing them, he let our problems get worse while blaming others for his failures.
Crime is out of control. Ordinary Londoners can’t afford to buy homes. Transport for London had to face coronavirus with record debt and £9.56 billion of wasteful spending.
And Sadiq Khan’s mismanagement cost everyone — through higher fares, higher taxes and higher driving charges for our families and businesses.
LONDON NEEDS A FRESH START — AND SHAUN BAILEY HAS A PLAN TO DELIVER IT
Shaun Bailey was born in a council house and raised by a single mum. He was homeless in his twenties. But he turned his life around and spent twenty years as a youth worker helping others do the same.
So Shaun has lived the problems that so many Londoners face. And he’s spent a lifetime helping Londoners have a fresh start. Getting young people out of gangs and into work. Joining Downing Street to deliver the National Citizen Service, the largest youth programme in British history.
Expanding access to the Army Cadets programme for schools across the country.
Shaun says what he means, means what he says, and does what he promises. As Mayor, Shaun Bailey will deliver what Sadiq Khan can’t — a fresh start for London.

Shaun will fix TfL’s finances by introducing commercial sponsorship for the tube network, helping to protect free travel for under-18s and over-60s.
Shaun will reverse Sadiq Khan’s congestion charge increase, his expansion of ULEZ and his £5.50 Outer London Tax. And Shaun will reverse Sadiq Khan’s 10% council tax hike, saving every household in London £307. Because for London to succeed, it needs to be a place where ordinary people can afford to live.
WE CAN RISK MORE OF THE SAME — OR WE CAN VOTE FOR A FRESH START
A vote for Sadiq Khan is a vote for more of the same. And that’s a big risk. If things continue the way they have, crime will get worse. Families and businesses will leave. The city will become more unaffordable. A good home will be further out of reach. And while the rest of the country recovers, London will fall behind.
A vote for Shaun Bailey is a vote to give London a fresh start. To build a city that works for ordinary Londoners. A city that recovers from coronavirus with safer streets, affordable homes, a transport network fit for a global city and a lower cost of living.
